In Transition is a deeply personal story that follows Erinn and her son Skylar, as together, they navigate Skylar's 10-year gender transition.

Skylar is shy, funny and introspective. He has been an artist from a young age and loves horror films, animals, video games and being in nature. His gender journey didn’t come to him like a bolt of lightening. It was more of a slow unfolding.

Erinn Michelle is a producer, writer, and professor with more than 25 years of experience in media.

She holds a master's degree in journalism and mass communications. She is an expert in the field of media representation, with a focus on women and transgender people.

Her primary goal is to challenge limited and divisive stereotypes and to promote diverse and inclusive storytelling.

V Robitaille is an editor who attended the Peck School of the Arts in Milwaukee, WI, earning a BFA in Film and New Media in 2012.

Since then, he’s worked on various experimental documentaries and various photographic projects.

He made his way to Los Angeles where he joined the team of Mr. Kate, sometimes called the “HGTV of YouTube” as their Head of Post.

Since the beginning of 2025 he’s also been an integral part of bringing In Transition to life.
